Throughout the tour, you''ll enjoy delicious fresh fish and seafood, and sample the best of Ireland - from ice cream parlours to bakeries, as well as great Irish pubs, of course.
Day One - Connemara
The holiday starts in the west coast, in County Galway.
Set on 200 acres of woodland and lakes at the foot of the Twelve Bens this historic country house hotel on the wild Connemara coast, was once owned by the poet Oliver St John Gogarty, and was where Yeats spent his honeymoon. Their Executive Eurotoque Chef Tim O’Sullivan has reigned supreme in the kitchen here l for some 20 years. Imagination and flair are the trademarks of a great chef and Tim’s recipes have both in buckets.
You will stay here for two nights, with dinner included on one evening.
Today enjoy a cruise to the unspoiled splendour of the Killary, Ireland's only fjord. The nine mile long inlet boasts some of the finest scenery in the West of Ireland, and because of its sheltered nature, its waters are always calm.
Later you will enjoy a visit to the Connemara Smokehouse & Visitor Centre in Ballyconneely for a full explanation of all the traditional methods used at the Smokehouse, along with some tastings and a glass of wine.
Day Three - County Clare
Your tour continues south from Galway into County Clare.
This lovely home of Gillian and chef Niall Ennis is an elegant residence, dating back to 1793, with large gardens, period furnishings and stunning views of the River Shannon. Continue to the southwest of Ireland.
Your next base is a restaurant with rooms in Cahersiveen along the famous Ring of Kerry. This is stylish and comfortable townhouse with lots of modern comforts. The associated restaurant serves a wide range of specialist seafood and Irish dishes. “We serve only fresh, wild, Irish local fish. Sustainability is key to us here. If anybody can get fish when the weather is bad that’s us.” according to owner Kate Cooke. You will stay here for two nights, with continental breakfast each morning served in your room and dinner on one evening in QC's Restaurant.

Then back up to Valentia Island for a stop off and wander through the beautiful picturesque village of Knightstown, where the first transatlantic cable was laid.
Take time to enjoy a coffee while the village gently bustles around you. Or wander along the cliffs and enjoy the breathe taking scenery of the western part of the Island. Maybe savour some wonderful Irish ice cream before return to Cahersiveen Marina.
